I'm a Mediterranean and back home each family has this stovetop coffee maker, my parents have all the sizes:)as I'm overseas I had to change the plastic with the gasket and could not find it any where so I went and decided to order the whole coffee maker (Bialetti) as the one I have is a made in china and i wanted the real thing. I received my order in 3 days which never happened with me before(shipping international)and the coffee maker was really as described I like how sturdy the handle is and just the look in general you can tell the difference between the Bialetti and the made china thing I have. I use my coffee maker daily and I just love it. one thing I didn't see mentioned in other comments, this kind of coffee maker save you the coffee powder a lot especially if you like your coffee strong (like we Mediterranean do), with the electrical coffee machine I poor a lot of powder to get strong coffee with the italian coffee maker like Bialetti I spend half the quantity of coffee to get great coffee, forget about starbucks (there is no better than home made coffee and it cost much much less.

I bought this to replace my Krups Espresso maker, I have had two Krups machines break on me. I use it every day for my Latte's. This seemed like a better option. It is just as fast, makes great coffee and I don't think I'll have the quality problems.



Great little espresso maker - Blauren -
I love this little coffee maker. It's easy to use and the espresso tastes great. The only bad news is I am now tempted to drink coffee all day instead of limiting myself to my morning "fix." I drink two medium to small soy lattes in the morning, and this size is sufficient for that. But because it tastes so good I may have ordered the nine or twelve cup if I had to do it over so I could have more on some days! I highly recommend this product.
